Gallery in the Square Join Forces with FrameHouse!
June 1st, 2010
As some of you may already know, Gallery in the Square moved from its Shadyside location to share a space with us in Lawrenceville’s historic Ice House. Although it was bittersweet to say goodbye to the place they called home for over 20 years, both Gallery in the Square and FrameHouse are looking forward to this new adventure and what it means for the now joined businesses.
FrameHouse has always specialized in providing quality custom framing at a discount price. We strived to always offer our customers the very best value with our own line of house mouldings. While FrameHouse focused on providing the best product with the lowest cost, Gallery in the Square’s main concentration was offering a diverse selection. Customers had the choice of hundreds of frames ranging in cost, manufacturer and style to best meet their framing needs. Since the move, FrameHouse has decided to provide both our own house line of mouldings alongside of Gallery in the Square’s array of metal, wood, closed corner and even gold leaf frames. Now we can officially frame anything, in any style, to meet any budget.
Another exciting benefit to this venture is the new art gallery. FrameHouse had previously been working to showcase a gallery of artwork and providing a venue for exhibitions and events, and now we are thrilled to have Gallery in the Square’s knowledge and expertise to guide us along the way. If you are already a fan of the artists that have been showing at Gallery in the Square, we are very proud that many of them have decided to make the move to our space in the Ice House as well. Although our new gallery space is still a work in progress, we have already started displaying the works of familiar and outstanding artists such as Patrick Lee, Mike Kruse and Patrick Ruane. In the coming months we will be sure to keep everyone updated on upcoming events, openings and exhibiting artists.
If you happen to be in Lawrenceville or would like to make the trip out, we would love to show you around the new space and answer any questions you might have!
Love,
All of us at FrameHouse and our inherited new staff from Gallery in the Square
